Dawn Allen’s four-year-old son, Henry, died of the same cancer that killed Bradley Lowery and has said that he will ‘look after him in heaven’.

News of six-year-old Bradley’s death on Friday brought back painful memories of her own experience with the aggressive neuroblastoma, Dawn says.

Henry died in 2013 from the same disease, after a painful 20-month battle.

“To think another family is going through this horrifies me, and brings back Henry’s battle,” Dawn told The Sun.

“No words can ever describe the pain they are in and the pain they will be in forever.

“My thoughts are with Bradley’s parents. Henry will welcome him and I know will look after him.”

Bradley was diagnosed with the cancer at just 18 months old and have been battling it for the last five years.

Last December, his family were told his condition was terminal, and nearly eight months later, Bradley tragically died.
