A mum is selling her breastmilk to bodybuilding men and she’s already made almost €5,000

A mum is selling her breastmilk to bodybuilding men and she’s already made almost €5,000.

Rafaela Lamprou gave birth to her son Anjelo seven months ago and soon realised that she was producing far more milk than she needed.

The mum-of-two said she began donating the breastmilk to mothers who needed it.

Rafaela told

“I had a lot of milk and I thought I needed to do something with it so I started storing it. But it was too much – it was taking up all the chest freezer. It was full.

“I didn’t know what to do with it. So I asked a couple of mums who were having trouble breastfeeding if they wanted it.”

She then began receiving requests from bodybuilders and men with breastmilk fetishes.

Rafaela said doesn’t know exactly what the men do with it, but that she now produces breastmilk “on demand.”

“It started with men who were interested in bodybuilding. They say it is good for building muscle mass.

“But then I started to get inquiries from men with fetishes. I have no idea what they do with it but they tell me they consume it.

“It was a bit strange at first giving breastmilk to a guy with fetishes but as long as it is just that and not asked to show any part of my body, I don’t mind it at all. I am open-minded.”

The mum-of-two also said that her husband is “very supportive” of her business venture.

Despite the apparent large numbers of bodybuilding men consuming breastmilk, there is no scientific evidence to suggest that the milk does anything to improve building muscle.

A few years ago, a medical journal also warned that drinking the milk had more risks than benefits for bodybuilding men.

It said that the lack of pasteurisation and testing not only exposes those who drink it to bacteria but could also put them into contact with diseases such as HIV and syphilis.
