Mum with baby on 10-hour flight praised for 'thoughtful' gesture to her fellow plane passengers

Travelling with your little one can be tough.

But a mum traveling with her young child has warmed hearts across the world with her "thoughtful" gesture for the 200 passengers on their 10-hour flight.

The mum was taking her four-month-old child on a flight from Seoul, South Korea to San Francisco.

In an effort to make things a bit easier, she prepared a very special treat for her fellow passengers - and apologised in advance just in case her little one cried or made too much noise during the trip.

The anonymous mum made more than 200 goodie bags, filled with things like sweets and earplugs, and gave them out to everyone before the plane had taken off.

One of the passengers, a man named Dave Corona, shared the series of snaps on Facebook as he praised the mum for the "touching" gesture.

He wrote:

"On a ten hour flight from Seoul Korea to San Francisco, a mother handed out more than 200 goodie bags filled with candy and ear plugs, in case her four-month-old child cried during the flight.

"A very touching gesture by the mother but as you know when you have kids expect the unexpected."

Beyond the treats and the earplugs, the mum included a message in each of the bags.

It said:

"Hello, I'm Junwoo and I'm 4 months old. Today, I am going to the U.S. with my mom and grandma to see my aunt.

"I'm a little bit nervous and scar[ed] because it's my first flight in my life, which means that I may cry or make too much noise.

"I will try to go quietly, though I can't make any promise. Please excuse me.

"So my mom prepared a little goodie bag for you! It has some candies and earplugs. Please use it when it's too noisy because of me.

"Enjoy your trip."

Many commenters under the post praised the mum for her "thoughtful", "amazing" and "sweet" gesture. It's not a new story but so strong was the reaction to the post, it's been shared online again in recent days.
