Met Éireann has put a Status Yellow weather warning in place for the entire country tonight.
It's the second nationwide weather warning this week - this time the meteorologists are urging folks to brace themselves for very wintry conditions.
Western and northern counties will be worst affected by the adverse weather, Met Éireann says. Anyone there can expect showers of rain, hail, sleet and snow moving west to east across Ireland tonight as well as a possibility of thunder.
It's already pretty nippy out there so don't forget to layer up if you're heading out this evening - it's predicted to get even chillier overnight, with temperatures dipping to as low as -1 degree.
We're also being warned that frost and ice will form, making untreated road surfaces dangerous so take care if you're travelling by car tonight or in the morning and give yourself plenty of time for journeys.
A mixture of wintry showers and sunshine are on the cards tomorrow, with the worst conditions in the north and northwest.
Temperatures are forecast to reach between 3 and 6 degrees during the day, though it'll become cold and frosty overnight again tomorrow night with temperatures potentially reaching -2.
