'Staff have been asked not to take holidays': Has Meghan's birth plan been leaked?

We might get a photo on those famous steps after all.

The royals have been keeping details about their newest arrival under wraps but new information could shed light on what Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have planned for the birth of their first child.

After much speculation, it looks like Meghan may have her baby in the Lindo Wing of St Mary’s Hospital in London.

Staff members there are being advised not to take leave during the month of April, a source has revealed,

“Staff at the Lindo Wing have been asked not to take holiday in April,” the insider told The Telegraph.

“Everyone thinks it’s got something to do with the royal baby but no one is confirming anything.”

Although the palace hasn’t officially announced Meghan’s due date, she last month let slip to a member of the public that she was due in April or early May.

The hospital has been favoured for royal births for decades.

Princess Diana had both William and Harry in the Lindo Wing and Kate Middleton also welcomed each of her three children there. Even Kate’s sister Pippa chose to have her first baby there last year.

Up to now it was rumoured that Meghan would choose to have her baby outside of London, given that she and Harry are moving to Windsor to raise their child.

Frimley Park, a hospital in Surrey, had been tipped as the place the couple would choose.
