One of the latest sets from toy manufacturer LEGO signifies a massive step towards inclusivity and gender equality, according to reports.
The ‘LEGO City’ range includes a number of new mini-figurines including a working mum, a stay-at-home dad and a kid in a wheelchair.
President of LEGO Systems Soren Torp Laursen
told Fortune that these figures are reflective of world that we live in.
He explained: “We need to stay in tune with the world around us. We aren’t responding to demand from anyone.
“We are trying to portray the world around us and listen to our consumer base.”
