Coronation Street's most popular characters at the moment and she has been involved in some very topical stories of late.
The latest plot though focuses on a lighter subject for Bethany is about to get a new love interest.

Ryan Connor is set to ask Bethany to go on a date although it hasn't yet been revealed whether this will go to plan.
Since arriving in Weatherfield, Michelle Connor's son has caused havoc and it will be interesting to see if he and Bethany hit it off.

Speaking to
The Mirror previously hinting about the coming storyline, Ryan Prescott, who plays Ryan on the Manchester-based soap, said:
"I can't really say too much but Ryan's got his eye on someone... they've taken his fancy. He's quite a bit besotted actually. But that's all I can say."
This storyline kicks off around the same time that Bethany's ex-boyfriend Craig Tinker starts seeing Kayla Westbrook.
However, Kayla is secretly attempting to find out more about Bethany and is using Craig to do so.
In scenes set to air in the coming weeks, Kayla, who is the daughter of Neil Clifton, the man who groomed and raped Bethany, will reveal her identity and you can find out more about that
