Archie Battersbee's mum says she feels let down by the justice system.
The mum has been tirelessly fighting for her son's life support to be kept on, despite doctors declaring her 12-year-old brian-stem dead.
Archie was found unconscious at their home in Essex in April but has not regained consciousness since.
Medics believe the young boy was trying an online challenge, but it tragically went wrong.
Over the weekend, it was confirmed that doctors now have the right to turn off Archie's life-support machine.
However, his mother has vowed to continue fighting for her son.
Speaking on Good Morning Britain, his mother Hollie Dance says she is devastated by the
High Court's ruling.
It is believed her son's life-support will be switched off today, August 2nd.
Hollie spoke to the Good Morning Britain team from Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel.
"Me and Archie's dad made a promise to Archie we would fight this until the end and that's exactly what we intend to do."
"I do feel extremely let down by our justice system. I know Archie's still with us and Archie's showing very different signs to what the clinicians are saying."
"He's progressing in so many ways. He's got a very good stable heart beat, he holds his own blood pressure, he's gaining weight."
His heartbroken mum said, "I find it very hard not to exhaust every option.
"Whilst he is progressing, it's very, very hard not to fight for his life," she added.
12-year-old Archie Battersbee will continue to receive treatment until midday today. After that, doctors at Royal London Hospital can legally turn off his life support machine.
