Tributes have been pouring in following the passing of cancer campaigner Jemma McGowan.
Beloved mum Jemma McGowan sadly died from a rare form of ovarian cancer at the age of 29.
29-year-old Jemma was from Omagh and was a mum to three children. She passed away on Thursday morning with her loved ones next to her.
According to Belfast Live, the mum-of-three was given just six months to live when she was diagnosed with the rare form of cancer in 2021.
Jemma raised both awareness and funds following her devastating cancer diagnosis. She used her social media to fundraise and to be honest about life with the cruel disease.
Beautiful tributes have been penned since Jemma’s heartbreaking death. Leading the tributes is documentary maker and Strictly star, Stacey Dooley.
Stacey worked with Jemma on her show Stacey Dooley Sleeps Over, but the pair became friends after filming.
Stacey remembered Jemma as “a joy to work with”.
She wrote, “Just heartbreaking. Jemma was a joy to work alongside and we continued our relationship as pals. I’m thinking of her Clive and her gorgeous babies.
“Fly high darlin’,” Stacey added.

“There’s no such thing as goodbye it’s just see you later,” another shared.
“Jemma you were an inspirational young woman. Life is just so unfair. Thinking of your beautiful family and sending them all the love in the world. May you rest easy now and in peace,” another shared.
Jemma will be laid to rest on Sunday, August 6th.
