The fire is now under control.
Gardaí have confirmed there were no injuries or fatalities following a fire at Wexford General Hospital.
The fire broke out at the hospital on Wednesday, March 1st.
Gardaí confirmed that a successful evacuation took place shortly after 4 pm. However, around 30 patients remain at the hospital.

200 patients were successfully evacuated from the hospital following the blaze.
Gardaí stated;
"The Wexford Fire Service was notified shortly before 16:00.
The Wexford Fire Service remained at the scene overnight following the blaze.
There is significant water damage to Wexford General Hospital.

Gardaí confirmed there were no injuries following the fire.
The National Ambulance Service assisted with the transfers following the blaze.
"The hospital is coordinating with the relevant authorities regarding finding the location, cause of the fire and assessing the full damage."
The public has been told to stay away from the hospital, as well as the general area.
Senior Assistant Chief Fire Officer Ray Murphy said some services could resume in the coming days.
He told RTÉ's Morning Ireland that the damage is "medium to small".
He also said the hospital could re-open within days.
