Looks like there’s about to be a big shake-up in the morning schedule on 2FM.

Jennifer Zamparelli is leaving the Breakfast Republic show to host her own programme, according to the Sunday World.

The move is reportedly set for the coming weeks, with Jennifer tipped to take over the 10am slot from Jenny Greene and her Dancing With The Stars co-host Nicky Byrne.

It had been speculated that Nicky would be stepping back from radio to focus on Westlife’s new music and upcoming tour.

The news is thought to be part of some sweeping changes across the station in what’s being described as “the biggest 2FM shake-up in years.”

Jennifer has been on Breakfast Republic for five years.

Lottie Ryan, the daughter of late radio DJ Gerry Ryan who currently fronts entertainment news at 2FM, is now being linked with the Jennifer’s role.

She has covered for the former Apprentice star on the show in the past and has described working alongside other hosts Bernard O’Shea and Keith Walsh as “the dream”.

Jennifer meanwhile is thought to have impressed RTÉ bosses with her presenting skills on Dancing With The Stars.

The mum-of-two took over the job from Amanda Byram, who left after two series of the popular programme.
