Investigators are yet to determine the cause of death of mum Ashley Grundy.
Ms Grundy was found dead in her home on New Year’s day by her mother after telling her mum the night before that she wasn’t feeling well.
Though police do not suspect foul play they are at a loss as to what could have killed the 28-year-old.
Mother to her two children Lailani, six, and Maverick, three, Ashley was seemingly healthy apart from feeling under the weather the night before she was found.
According to the Daily Mail, Ashley’s mother, Sarah, said that she had tried to call her daughter on New Year’s Eve but received no response. She said she had put it down to the lines being busy at the time.
Ashley’s children were in the care of her parents Ash and Sarah on New Year’s Eve and her body was discovered when they went to her London house to return them.
Due to the initial post-mortem failing to establish the cause of the young mum’s death there will be further tests, so it could be up to 10 weeks before the Grundy family really know what happened to Ashley.
Sarah has set up a GoFundMe to make sure her grandchildren are always provided for.
