"Connacht and west Ulster will stay largely dry. Highest temperatures of 7 to 10 degrees with moderate east to northeast breezes." Tonight is going to be a bit worse, with the weather forecaster saying: "Tonight will be cold and mainly dry with clear spells in many areas and with frost developing. Lowest temperatures of -1 and +3 degrees for much of the country. Cloudier on east and south coasts with some further showers and temperatures of 4 to 6 degrees." At least it won't be lashing out (fingers crossed).Today, scattered showers will continue to affect E & S counties, with a few still heavy or prolonged in the SW this morning. Mainly dry elsewhere with a good deal of cloud & some sunny breaks, the best of these in Connacht & W Ulster. Highs of 7 to 10°C with mod. E to NE breezes. pic.twitter.com/rF2CzTH0ui
