The Obamas lunch with Bono in NYC and get a standing ovation – we have the video

They are no strangers to drawing crowds, but this video of the Obamas getting a standing ovation at a Park Avenue restaurant in NYC will give you chills.

Barack and Michelle met U2's Bono on Friday for lunch, along with Bono's daughter, Jordan Hewson.

The Obamas daughter is due to start at Harvard University this year. The former First Family are good pals with Bono - they had lunch in Finnegan's pub in Dalkey in South Dublin with the singer and his wife, Ali Hewson, when they visited Ireland four years ago. (Feature Image via The Telegraph)
