One of our all time favourites!

If you grew up in the 80s or early 90s you probably remember going to the video shop to rent The Last Unicorn.

Probably one of the most underrated animations of the 1980s, The Last Unicorn still holds a special place in the heart of many fans and if you’re one of them then you’ll want to pop down to the Odean in Dublin next weekend!

The Odeon East Wall Road in Dublin will be hosting a very special 40th anniversary screening of The Last Unicorn next week on June 11th.

The special screening is part of the Cinematic Film Festival and tickets to the screening will cost 6 euro.

The Last Unicorn features an all star cast with voice acting from Jeff Bridges, Mia Farrow and Angela Lansbury.

The Last Unicorn is based on the fantasy novel by American author Peter S. Beagle.

It follows the tale of a unicorn, who believes she is the last of her kind in the world and undertakes a quest to discover what has happened to the others.

It’s not often that The Last Unicorn can be seen on the big screen so this is not a screening to be missed if you’re a huge fan of the film.

Tickets are available to book through Eventbrite.
