Sad news today
In north Cork, a 20-year-old died while driving last night.
According to The Irish Times, while driving on the Mallow-Killarney road in Cork, the man’s vehicle, a Toyota Corolla crashed into a Bus Éireann bus.
The collision happened roughly 4km from Mallow in Cork at 6.15pm yesterday.
It is believed the driver of the Toyota who died is from Lismore in Co. Cork.
The driver of the bus was rushed to Cork University Hospital where he is being treated for his injuries.
Three passengers on the bus were also treated for minor injuries
Gardaí are now appealing for any witnesses to the incident and should anyone want to come forward with information, it’s advised to get in touch with Mallow Garda Station.
