One of the stars of Dancing on Ice might have to pull out of the competition

This is a disaster.

Anthony Cotten's future on Dancing on Ice is in jeopardy after he suffered a fall in rehearsals and fractured two ribs. Anthony's training session on Wednesday took a nasty turn when he fell and got injured. The Coronation Street star was rushed to hospital and was told he needed to stay on bed rest until he recovers. A source said that he is devasted by the incident and is hoping to still be able to hit the ice on Sunday for the live show. Even if he is fit to perform this weekend, he hasn't had the right amount of practice this week so, either way, it's not looking good for him. Speaking to The Sun, he said:

"We lost our balance and both fell backwards on to the ice. Luckily, Brandee was uninjured but I was taken to hospital where I discovered I had fractured a couple of ribs, front and back. I’d like to thank the staff at Silver Blades ice rink in Widnes, the doctor and nurse at The Alexandra Hospital in Cheadle, and Brandee, who never left my side throughout. Hopefully the painkillers and sequins will see us through.”
