Singer Paloma Faith admits she was anxious about returning to work post baby
The 36-year-old Stone Cold Sober singer welcomed her baby last December with French partner Leyman Lahcine.
Since then, she has been keeping mum about the name and gender of her precious little baba, enjoying life as a new mum. It wasn’t all merry though, the singer also had a rough few months recovering from a womb infection.
But clearly, she couldn’t stay away from music for long!
Speaking to RTÉ Entertainment the beautiful mum said,
“It’s like I’ve just had this big life changing thing happen to me, when I go back to work, will I be relevant anymore, as I feel changed almost.”
We hear you Paloma - those are stressful thoughts to say the least.
She also talked about what kind of parent she thinks she’ll be and we must say, it sounds like her little tot is in for a great ol’ time.
“I will let them be whatever they want to be and to cultivate whatever personality the child has without informing or implementing anything except for good manners.”
The release of her brand new single Crybaby marks her first fresh material in three years and we must admit, we’re rather loving it! Clearly Paloma had nada to worry about.
“I have not gone through a drastic image overhaul, I do not feel comfortable being understated but if I had dressed feathers and glitter it would not have worked.”
Well thank god, we love Paloma just the way she is!
Her brand-new album The Architect is set for release on Friday, 17 November.
