They work long shifts, unsociable hours and race against the clock to save lives every day.
However, instead of thanks, one ambulance crew got a pretty nasty surprise when they returned to their vehicle.
A crew from the West Midlands Ambulance Service in the UK were attending to a man in a critical condition who was vomiting blood, after which they found this note tucked into the windscreen wipers:
