Parcel Motel ransacked by thieves with dozens of deliveries stolen

A Parcel Motel depot was ransacked in Lucan, Co Dublin, with dozens of boxes stolen.

Gardaí are currently investigating the matter after deliveries were opened by thieves at the Newcastle Road junction.

The precise number of deliveries stolen is still unknown, however the company is urging customers to email if they believe that their parcel might have been robbed.

Locals in the area said there were dozens of boxes thrown across the road in the aftermath.

A spokesman for the Gardaí said: “Gardaí are investigating a theft incident at a petrol station on Newcastle Road, Lucan, on 19 September at approximately 2am.

“No arrests have been made so far and investigations are ongoing.”

Parcel Motel also said that any “stolen, lost or damaged” deliveries will be replaced by the company, or you will be offered a reimbursement of €100.

Gardaí are asking if anyone has any information to come forward.
