Parents in New York are holding ‘measles parties’ to expose unvaccinated kids

This is so dangerous.

Two weeks ago, New York county banned unvaccinated children and teenagers from public spaces following a server measles outbreak.

Rockland County, which is around 30 miles from New York City, declared a state of emergency on Tuesday after 153 cases of measles were confirmed in less than six months.

The order bans unvaccinated minors from  schools, malls, restaurants, and places of worship.

However, now it has been reported that ‘measles parties’ are taking place in New York right now which sees parents bring children that don’t have vaccinations to parties for the purpose of contracting the disease.

NYC Health Commissioner Dr. Oxiris Barbot said: “Back in the day people were having parties to expose their kids to chickenpox.

“We live in a different world now … there are serious consequences to that.”

Whether it’s with chickenpox, measles, or another infectious disease, these kinds of gatherings can have serious health implications and you can never know how severe it will be.
