Presenter Patrick Kielty has revealed this year's Late Late Toy Show theme, and it may be one of the best yet.
The host confirmed that the classic Christmas movie The Grinch will be this year's theme.
According to RTÉ, Kielty said: "The theme of this year's Toy Show is The Grinch, which means that someone may have to dress up as the Grinch. A lot of people may think that there's not much makeup needed for that!"
RTÉ has transformed its studio into Who-ville, and we cannot wait to see it.
The dad-of-two said he's "very excited" to host his third Late Late Toy Show.
"Growing up in our house, Christmas never really started until you sat down and you watched The Grinch properly. There are a lot of lines in it that we would normally quote to each other, even when it's not Christmas," he shared.
Viewers have been counting down the days to the festive Irish tradition.
One said, "I'm like a child waiting for the reveal, love the Grinch."
One wrote, "Looking forward to it tonight. Every year, it is fantastic."
Legendary Irish actor Liam Neeson will feature in tonight's Late Late Toy Show. He will narrate the opening of this year's Toy Show.
Other special guests are expected throughout the night, but have not yet been confirmed.
All toys featured on the Toy Show will be donated to charity.
For the first time on RTÉ, Audio Description will be available live on RTÉ One during broadcast, making it more accessible than ever and ensuring that its wonder can be shared universally.
The Late Late Toy Show with Irish Sign Language (ISL) will broadcast live on the RTÉ News Channel and RTÉ Player.
The Late Late Toy Show will air on RTÉ 1 at 9.35 pm.
