Penneys, you have our attention.
Penneys fans, we have some news, and you may want to be sitting down for this one.
You’ll soon be able to go online and browse through the thousands of items that they have and check to see what exactly is in stock and what isn’t in your local store.
We know, our lives are about to get a whole lot better.
The retailer has revealed its new and improved UK website and according to one source, we won’t be waiting too long before it’s launched in Ireland too.
A spokesperson told the Irish Sun: “Primark plan to roll out the new website out to other countries over the summer months.
“They aim to have Ireland live by July.”
While some products are currently able to be viewed online, the new update will include everything they have in stock and shoppers will be able to check exactly what items and sizes are in which stores.
The new features are set to be rolled out within the coming months and they will also include a wish list, customer accounts and a newsletter.
Primark boss Paul Marchant said: “We know [shoppers] want to browse the latest collections online and be able to check availability, which is what our new website makes possible for the first time.
“This new website and new features mark a significant step forward for our business and represent a shift in the role of digital at Primark.”
The stock availability feature will work on a traffic light system, with green meaning something is in stock, orange means it’s low in stock, red means it is low in stock. Grey means that the item isn’t available at all in your store.
