Fancy a new way to entertain yourself when on your lunch break (at home in your house)?

Meet the brand new mobile video game “Primark Legends” – where you will play a shop assistant at a busy Penneys store.

According to the press release, Primark Legends is a fun, fast-paced, shop assistant game that sees players take on the role of a new member of the team in a virtual Primark store, attempting to stay on their feet as a busy day unfolds.’

In other words, you get to test your shop assistant skills – and compete to be the best team member – which, you know, sounds entertaining enough, no?

The aim of the game is to get a five-star rating by “creating conga lines of happy customers, reuniting shoppers with their lost toys and most importantly… listening to the boss”.

Also, according to Primark, players can choose from three intensity levels that ‘reflect real-life Primark stores.’

While you may think Primark releasing a video game seems a little odd, it seems they are not the first fashion company to do so.

Over the past couple of years, big brands like Karl Lagerfeld, Gucci, Adidas, Burberry, Louis Vuitton and even BoohooMan have all released similar games, with the idea being that millennials like and respond well to this kind of engaging content.

Primark Legends, which it says is “the high street’s first mobile gaming app”, is available to download and play for free on Android and iOS from today.

Primark Legends is free to download from Google Play and the App Store right now.
