Ah, here now.
It seems like Meghan Markle can’t walk out of her house without causing controversy, and now she can’t even make breakfast without people calling her out.
The latest is the Daily Mail saying that her avocado toast she recently made for one of her BFFs is the reason for “drought and murder”. Like, what?
After her friend, and makeup artist, Daniel Martin posted that pic of their avocado toast, obviously everyone went wild because it looked so delicious – but the DM decided to run the story “How Meghan’s favourite avocado snack – beloved of all millennials – is fuelling human rights abuses, drought and murder.”
The article highlights valid reasons about the avocado trade and increased demand in recent years but, is Meghan solely to blame? No.
This sentence is the cherry on top, though: “The campaigning duchess may be passionate when it comes to racial equality and female empowerment, but for someone who wants to save the planet, she’s committed something of a faux pas with avocados.”
Nah.
Of course, a lot of people were against the article and on Meghan’s side and took to Twitter to vent a little:

I think we can now say with some certainty that there is nothing the Daily Mail can’t blame on Meghan (h/t @AngelaFwrites) pic.twitter.com/KJcL7EcaXk
