People think Brendan Cole’s speech proves he is quitting Strictly

Brendan Cole and his dancing partner Charlotte Hawkins were sent home from Strictly Come Dancing last night. The pair had received a lot of criticism in the last few weeks in the competition, so it was no major surprise when they were sent home. However, people were taken aback by Brendan's emotional speech. He was speaking about leaving this particular series but people also believe it meant an exit from the show entirely. He said:

"Quite often you stand in this position and you go, ‘Hey it was our time to go’ and perhaps today it was our time to go. ‘Not often you stand here with such sadness and go ‘I’m going to miss this and I’m going to miss hanging out with this girl. I’m going to miss dancing with her, I’ve had one of the best Strictly’s in 15 years and it’s hard for me to even say that and I feel really emotional."

Fans of his and the show have suggested that it was more of an overall farewell speech with the possibility of him quitting even more likely after hearing it.
