Tributes pour in for dad-of-three killed in Wexford car accident

“He was a true gentleman”

Tributes have been pouring in for dad-of-three PJ Whitty who was sadly killed in a road accident in Wexford this week.

The beloved dad is survived by his partner Melissa and their three daughters.

PJ Whitty was involved in a collision between two cars and a tractor. PJ was the driver of one of the cars and was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

The accident occurred on the N25, near Ballinaboola on February 22nd.

Two of PJ’s daughters were rushed to University Hospital Wexford with serious injuries.

Two other men were also seriously injured in the accident. They are being treated in University Hospital Wexford.

The dad has been remembered as “a true gentleman”.

One wrote, “May he rest in eternal peace and shine down on his partner and daughters forever.”

“So saddened to hear of Pajos passing, he will be so missed, a true gentleman,” another wrote.

Another said, “So cruel to be taken away from your little girls and family.”

Gardaí launched an investigation following the road accident on Wednesday.

Witnesses have been asked to come forward.

Road users who travelled on the route between 6.40 pm and 7.15 pm should contact Gardaí.

Gardáí have also asked road users to make dash cam footage available to them.
