Poison pen letter accusing new mum of ‘oversharing’ goes viral

A nasty letter apparently sent to a new mother by her closest friends has gone viral, after they demanded she stop posting baby updates. Jade Ruthven, 33, was so offended by the catty note, she emailed it to Australian comedian Em Rusciano – who promptly shared it with thousands of followers on her Facebook page. The letter urged Jade to 'Stop and think' before posting pictures of her daughter, Addison:

'She wears a new outfit - well take a photo and send it PRIVATELY to the person who gave it to her - not to everyone!!!

'She crawls off the mat - we DON'T care!!!!! She's 6 months old - BIG DEAL!!!' the letter reads.

The author adds: 'We can't wait for you to get back to work - maybe you won't have time to be on Facebook quite so much.'
