Kat O'Connor

Missing since June 28

An urgent appeal has been issued in the search for a missing 4-year-old child.

Police in Derry believe Scarlet Duddy could now be in the Republic. She was last seen on the afternoon of June 28 when she was leaving a children’s play centre in the Springtown Road area of Derry.

Scarlet has been described as having light brown hair, which was tied up in a pink hair bow. She has hazel eyes and her two front teeth are missing.

She was wearing peach leggings, a peach skirt, a peach t-shirt with daddy’s little superstar printed on the front and a dark blue jumper with silver sequined heart.

A police spokesperson commented: “We believe that she may be in the company of a relative and may possibly be in the Republic of Ireland.”

“I would appeal to that person to get in touch with police as soon as possible on 101, quoting the reference number 932 of 28/06/21.”

Police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
