Amazon has dropped the price of the Kindle Paperwhite to its lowest price in years as part of the Spring Deal Days sale.
Shoppers can bag the newest gen of the reading device at €156.12 for a limited time on the Amazon website.
Handy price comparison site Camelcamelcamel lets us know how much the Kindle has previously cost.
It's lowest ever price was €144.45 in December 2024, so the current spring sale price is only slightly higher than this.
The device is the fastest Kindle ever, with a 7-inch Paperwhite display with a higher contrast ratio and 25% faster page turns.
The Kindle Paperwhite has an ultra-thin design, with a glare-free screen that can be adjusted from white to amber, so you can enjoy reading in all conditions.
It also marks the longest battery life of any Kindle so far, with a single charge lasting up to 12 weeks.
The popular device is also waterproof, so you can read your favourite books by the pool or in the bath.

More than 12,000 shoppers have tried and tested the Kindle Paperwhite, giving it an average rating of 4.6 stars on Amazon.
One customer said in their five star review: "This Kindle is amazing. Light to hold, good size screen and excellent long lasting battery.
"As an avid reader I was worried about switching from books to a Kindle but it was the best decision I ever made. Storage capacity is exceptional. I would highly recommend this Kindle."
Another wrote: "Seamless and simple setup, and a great upgrade, most notably on the speed of page turning and the screen brightness and daylight options. I am delighted I decided to upgrade. I’m very pleased with it."
While a third said: "I've been a Kindle man since the very first one, my last one lasted 8 years. This new generation is a step up, faster scrolling, optimised light and crisper and clearer pages. I can't fault it at all."
