A French woman has taken to Facebook and Youtube in an attempt to find the Australian one-night stand she believes is the father of her unborn child.
Twenty-six-year-old Parisian Natalie Amyot spent the last night of her Aussie vacation in Mooloolaba on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, where she met a handsome stranger in O’Malley’s Irish Bar. The pair continued partying at The Wharf Tavern before hooking up that night.
Appealing for the public’s assistance in tracing him, Natalie reveals:
‘Three months ago I came to Mooloolaba, I had an amazing time, I met amazing people. On the last night we had a party.
‘I met a really cute guy. For me it was love at first sight. And we had a beautiful night.’
All’s well that ends well… until it isn’t. Six weeks later, and back home in France, Natalie discovered she was pregnant. By a man she has no name or contact details for. Now she’s spent everything she has on returning to the scene of the rendezvous in an attempt to locate him:
‘On the next morning I flew home to Paris and I lost my phone with his number on it, so I have no way to contact him.’ she continues.
‘I have come back here and to try and find him. I have no family of my own. Please, please help me. Share this video, show your friends and hopefully he will receive this.’
The mystery potential baby daddy is described as being tanned, 183cm tall, with blue eyes and blonde hair.
Despite her predicament, Natalie says she’ll understand if he wants nothing to do with her or her baby. Predictably, the young mum-to-be has spent the day defending herself against online trolls ridiculing her mistake.
Posting on Facebook she said: “… if you don’t want to help or are rude please just go back to you lives and don’t judge me…i said if he isn’t interested ill go home and that is it….can i not try though? why is that so bad?”
Online commentators have suggested the whole thing might be an elaborate hoax, but we’ll wait and see. In the meantime watch this space and check out the video below…
