Prince George reportedly told classmate “my father will be King so you better watch out”

The nine-year-old is second-in-line to the British throne.

If you’ve grown up as part of the British royal family, it probably isn’t long before you realise that your life is very different from everyone else’s.

And, according to royal expert and author Katie Nicholl, Prince George is more than aware of how important his family is.

In her new book The New Royals, the writer claims that the nine-year-old and eldest son of Prince William and Kate Middleton warned a classmate at school: “My dad will be king so you better watch out.”

Nicholl writes: “[William and Kate] are raising their children, particularly Prince George, with an awareness of who he is and the role he will inherit, but they are keen not to weigh them down with a sense of duty.

“George understands he will one day be king and as a little boy sparred with friends at school, outdoing his peers with the killer line: ‘My dad will be king so you better watch out’.”

Prince George and his siblings recently started attending Lambrook School in Berkshire. Their new school has a 25-metre swimming pool, a golf course and even an orchard.
