By now, we’ve all heard about the very fancy school that Prince George attends.
The four-year-old is a pupil at Thomas’s School in Battersea, a mixed private school that’s a short distance from Kensington Palace where he lives with his family.
According to The Good Schools Guide, Thomas’s is “a big, busy, slightly chaotic school for cosmopolitan parents who want their children to have the best English education money can buy.”
Class sizes average at around 20 at the selective school, with pupils from a variety of nationalities who among them speak 19 different languages at home.
One of those pupils is actually a relative of George’s; Maud Windsor.
Maud is the daughter of Lord Frederick Windsor, whose father Prince Michael of Kent is George’s granny Queen Elizabeth’s first cousin.
You mightn’t know Lord Freddie but you probably know his wife, Sophie Winkleman.
Sophie, an actress, has appeared in a number of TV shows and movies, including Peep Show, Two and a Half Men and The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.
As you might have guessed by her last name, she’s also the half-sister of TV presenter Claudia Winkleman.
Four-year-old Maud, who is Lady Sophie and Lord Freddie’s eldest daughter, is currently 48th in line to the throne.
George, meanwhile, is third in line and so a little more likely to make the cut.
