The young prince will be christened today.
Prince Louis is due to be christened today in St. James’ Palace today by the Archbishop of Canterbury.
And now Kensington Palace has announced those who will become godparents to the young royal.
Louis will have six godparents – yep, six – and they’ve now been named in an official statement from Kensington.
According to the statement, the following people will become godparents:
Mr Nicholas van Cutsem – a close friend of Prince William who also accompanied the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s carriage at their wedding
Mr Guy Pelly – longtime friend to William and Kate, Pelly was responsible for William’s stag party back in 2011
Mr Harry Aubrey-Fletcher – one of William’s oldest friends who asked the Prince to be an usher at his wedding
The Lady Laura Meade – another close friend to the couple, with William also acting as usher at her wedding
Mrs Robert Carter, Hannah Gillingham – she is an old school friend of Kate Middleton
Miss Lucy Middleton – first cousin of Kate

In attendance at today’s ceremony will be Prince Charles and Camilla, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Michael and Carol Middleton, James and Pippa Matthews and James Middleton.
If you want to look out for the first glimpse of Prince Louis, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, and his two siblings George and Charlotte, the ceremony is said to take place at 4pm today.
Prince Louis – full name Louis Arthur Charles – was born in the private Lindo Wing of St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington, London, on April 23 of this year and weighed 8lb 7oz.
