Princess Charlotte's lavish birthday celebrations revealed
Charlotte turned 7-years-old on May 2nd.
Princess Charlotte recently celebrated her 7th birthday and the little princess had a day fit for well, royalty.
According to sources close to Prince William and Kate, their daughter had two birthday parties.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge wanted Charlotte to have an extra special day after spending two years in lockdown.
The parents had rare "uninterrupted" time with their daughter, according to US Weekly.
The insider explained that the parents cleared their schedules, especially for their daughter.
Charlotte even took the day off school.
"They cleared their schedules and avoid any work calls, unless there’s an emergency, to enable them to give their children their undivided attention."
They hosted two special parties for Charlotte's birthday.
One at their family home Anmer Hall with just close family on the guest list.
Kate reportedly cooked all the party food and even made the cake.
"Kate made all the food herself — mini pizzas, burgers, sausage rolls, hot dogs, fruit wands, sandwiches, multi-colored cupcakes, and ice cream for everyone to tuck into."
Princess Charlotte was gifted a pony for her birthday, as well as a scooter and board games.
Charlotte had a second party at the family's London residence in Kensington Palace.
All of her close friends attended this party. It was quite the big deal for 7-year-old Charlotte as it was her first party with just her friends.
Sources said the little princess loved being the center of attention on the day.
"She’s such a popular little girl and loved every minute of being [the] center of attention."
"It’s obvious from being around Princess Charlotte that she possesses all the personality traits to excel in her future role."
The little princess reportedly loves being in the spotlight.
"It’s something she really enjoys," they shared.
