Do you love your cat butt (see what I did there) struggle with your moggy’s lack of modesty? Fear not, the Twinkle Tush is here to save the day.
This rear-end adornment for your feline friend is actually a joke gift from the designers behind the Cat Crib. Although you can buy the glittering gem, the makers insist that owners should only use them for a brief photo opportunity.
However, some individuals have a sad tail (ahem) to tell about the starfish sparkler:
“My neighbour tried to put a Twinkle Tush on her cat’s tail. . . And well the results were not good. Let’s just say that Abby, my neighbour’s cat, climbed the walls, scratched the wood furniture, jumped in the washing machine (and back out again), ran into the hamster (fractured one of little Bear’s legs, but he’s ok now ), gnawed at the new 4k computer monitor, clawed and hung on to Clippy the chihuahua, let go of Clippy and broke a glass vase, shattered 1 1/2 sets of chinaware, and finally attacked the PS4 by jumping and running into it after application of Twinkle Tush.
She tried to remove the Twinkle Tush from Abby, and well that resulted in vigorous cat hand scratches. Finally, Abby the cat removed the Twinkle Tush from her anus, and proceeded to place it on the dinner table. Clippy, distraught from all of the commotion, jumped onto the table to see what Abby was doing, and decided to take the Twinkle Tush in his mouth, to the backyard through the dog door.
In the backyard, a squirrel saw the shining anal jem, and then decided to fight Clippy for it. Clippy sustained vigorous squirrel paw scratches, and the squirrel won the battle. The Twinkle Tush now resides in the neighbour’s tree, 2 stories up, at the entrance to the squirrels home for everyone to see.*
