Working with a partner or spouse is tough at times. While it's great to have them around the office, or if you work at home, but sometimes it can put a strain on the relationship. That's what happened for Jennifer Lawrence and her now ex-boyfriend Darren Aronofsky. The couple dated around the time she starred in the movie Mother!, which he directed. Working together seemed to have been fine, but it was the aftermath when the critics and reviews began to give their opinion. Jennifer opened up to Adam Sandler in an interview where she said it became 'unhealthy' because all he wanted to do was talk about the movie and analyze the reviews, whereas she didn't want to talk about it at all. She said:

"We’d be on the tour together, I’d come back to the hotel and the last thing I want to talk about or think about is the movie, and he comes back from the tour and that’s all he wants to talk about. I get it, it's his baby. I was doing double duty of trying to be a supportive partner while also being like, 'Can I please, for the love of God, not think about Mother! for one second?'"

She went on to say:

"He would starting me reviews and I finally was just like, 'It’s not healthy. Neither of us are doing it because if I read it, I start getting defensive.' Especially because it’s my man. It’s awesome what we did, the people who hate it, really hate it. But it’s nothing that needs to be defended and if I read a negative review, I just feel defensive."
