Not long now…
It’s just over a week to go until this year’s Late Late Toy Show will be hitting our screens and anticipation for the evening is already building.
Can this year’s possibly live up to other years of heartwarming moments, controversy and some stunning performances? Only time will tell.
But the trailer features marshmallows, Christmas jumpers and popcorn angels as well as one little boy and his family preparing to settle in to watch the show.
There’s also a special appearance from Gabriel, The Late Late Show owl, named after the late Gay Byrne.
The promo will premiere on Irish TV on Wednesday evening and you will be seeing it on TV over the coming days until the big show on Friday week.
The theme of the show has not yet been revealed and is a closely guarded secret.
Last year’s show was the most-watched television programme of the year with over 1.5 million people tuning in to watch The Greatest Showman themed show.
