Rihanna is a woman of extraordinary talent

She wears multiple hats; she is a global superstar, model, business owner, philanthropist, activist, and mother.

The media mogul shares two sons with her partner, A$AP Rocky, RZA Athelston, 1, and Riot Rose, seven months.

Being a world-renowned artist, however, means nothing to a small baby, nor does it shield you from the realities of motherhood.

In an interview with Interview magazine, Rihanna candidly discussed the unfiltered side of the job and how it alters one’s life.

We also know RiRi as one of the most creative fashionistas in the world, however, when it comes to styling on a day-to-day basis, she puts her efforts on her two sons.

The mum-of-two admitted her dress sense, like many other parents, is also about comfort.

“It’s more like I spend my time getting the kids dressed to death,” she told the publication.

“And then I’m like, ‘What’s the most comfortable outfit to wear around them? What’s not going to feel uncomfortable on their face or on their body or make me feel like I can’t hold them properly?’

“Moms are lazy dressers in real life.”

The Umbrella singer also shared that her eldest son’s clothes are now being worn by his younger brother.

“I have racks, I have bags. They’re all sized and organised, and then whatever gets too small for RZA, I put into bins so that Riot can have them next. Riot is actually in all of RZA’s 1-year-old clothes already.

“He’s only six months. Everybody thinks Rocky dresses them because I dress them in Rocky outfits.”

Even more relatable, the mum carries something of her son’s when she moves around, such as a dummy or a rag.

As a couple, Rihanna revealed that she and A$AP Rocky are both hands-on parents.

“Rocky has never shied away from it. He does the shirt up over the nose with a stinky diaper. He gets through it. It’s kind of funny.”

The star opened up about her relationship with the rapper, saying that the COVID pandemic ‘sped’ things up for them.

“I felt like god knew we needed it because we were going to start a family,” she said.

“And had it not been for COVID, we would’ve taken a lot more time to get comfortable with each other, to even know that we were ready.”

She described having babies as the ‘best thing that ever happened’ to them, admitting she knew he would make a ‘great father’.

Rihanna, who is a boy mom, also confessed that she would like to have a baby girl if it’s in God’s plan.

Of course, in all the changes that come with welcoming children into the world, body changes are just one.

When asked by Mel Ottenburg about her thoughts on plastic surgery, the singer said, down the line, she would be open to it.

In a relatable reply, the star said: “I want my titties pinned back to my shoulders, right where they used to be. I don’t want implants. I just want a lift.”

“I haven’t done enough research to know, but I heard that you might have some scars. I’m okay with all that. But I don’t want to ever have a tummy tuck because I don’t want a new navel, and I don’t want that scar, right?”

She got candid about ‘third-trimester cellulite’, saying that she saw ‘ripples coming from places you never knew’.

“It’s all in your thighs because your thighs are carrying the weight of your baby and uterus,” but added that she wouldn’t undergo a tummy tuck, just a boob lift if she was to opt for surgery in the future.
