We hate to admit it because we’re kind of dreading all the shopping, wrapping and decorating (anyone else feel like a coffee or a glass of wine just thinking about it?) but it IS beginning to look a lot like Christmas.
Another sign of this is that the Rockefeller-style tree has arrived in Dublin ahead of the opening of the new ‘I BELIEVE’ Christmas village.

Even with #StormBarney blowing a gale we managed to get our 50ft I BELIEVE tree standing! #8DaysToGo pic.twitter.com/TDlJzx2Ems — ibelieveinchristmas (@IBelieve_IRE) November 18, 2015
The 50-foot tall tree will be the focal point of the festive village which will kick off next Thursday (November 26th) at Custom House Quay in the Docklands.
As well as what looks like the best Christmas tree ever to grace our Irish soils, there will also be stalls with gifts and foods at the village.
And on that note, we’re off to watch Home Alone 2 with the little ones!
