A school headmaster has contacted police after having to remove tv personality Rolf Harris from his school.

The 88-year-old convicted paedophile was found wandering the grounds of the school and waving at children through the windows.

Harris was released from HM Prison Stafford in 2017 after serving five years and nine months for 12 indecent assaults.

Harris is said to live close to the primary school,Oldfield Primary School, Berkshire, but this is the first time he has ever been found on the premises.

Upon being questioned, Harris told the headmaster Richard Jarrett that he had entered the grounds to ask a sculptor working at the school for wood.

Mr Jarrett told the former tv star that he needed to leave immediately before contacting police.

The headmaster said that Harris had absolutely no contact with the students but parents and guardians of the young children were still shook by the incident.

According to the Daily Mail one grandfather said;

“Why would he want to be waving at kids? He’s already given himself a terrible name. I think the head teacher did the right thing telling him to go and if he’s got any sense he won’t come back.”

Harris was convicted of 12 indecent assaults on several girls under the age of 16 at London’s Southwark Crown Court in June 2014.
