Public birthday serenades are embarrassing for anyone, but especially when you’re 16 years old and an entire band surrounds you and presents you with an exploding cake in the middle of a busy restaurant.
Well, that’s exactly what happened Romeo Beckham this week as he celebrated his 16th birthday with his family.
Romeo marked the milestone birthday alongside his two brothers Brooklyn and Cruz, sister Harper, parents David and Queen VB and godparents Elton John and David Furnish.
We know – if dining tables could talk.
Anyway, poor Romeo was left red-faced as a band suddenly surrounded him to sing ‘Happy Birthday’ before carrying out a very impressive cake.
While everyone looked on smiling, Romeo tried to remain calm as all eyes were on him.
Sharing the footage on her Instagram page, proud mum Victoria said:
“Early birthday celebrations! From the best godparents.”
The family marked the occasion while on holidays in France before they return to the UK in time for Victoria to prepare for her fashion line’s tenth anniversary at London Fashion Week next month.
