No one could get over Roy Cropper on Coronation Street tonight

Ah, Roy.

He's been around for longer than anybody can remember and he's still breaking hearts wherever he goes. Tonight was no exception either, as Cropper decided to step up and be the best friend he could ever be to Carla Connor. And fair play to him. Having told nobody except for Roy, Aiden, and Kate that she was suffering from kidney failure, Carla collapsed in the pub earlier on tonight. Her ex, Peter Barlow, decided to jump to the conclusion that she was just drunk by telling her that she'd "had enough," but Roy knew better. Once Carla collapsed, Cropper was right by her side telling Peter to call an ambulance. Peter, still totally unaware of what is actually happening, stands there for a bit until he realises that something is actually wrong and eventually goes to help. However, it was, of course, thanks to Roy that Carla got to hospital and Corrie viewers were very quick to express how much they loved the pair's relationship.
