Ryan Gosling’s daughter’s think his day-to-day job is just out of this world.
The Canadian actor shares two daughters with his longtime partner, Eva Mendes: 2-year-old Amada Lee and Esmerelda Amada, 4.
And the proud dad reckons that Esmerelda and Amada may have gotten the wrong idea about what he does after a visit to the set of his recent film.
The 37-year-old was visited by his daughters while he was filming First Man, his newest movie where he stars as Neil Armstrong, the first person to walk on the moon.
During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live earlier this week, the actor explained:
“They came to set. They came on this day where I was shooting a launch scene, so I was in the spacesuit and pretending to launch.
“I think they think I’m an astronaut now.
“My oldest said the other day — she pointed to the moon — she was like, ‘That’s where you work, right?’”
Last month, Eva Mendes made a similar revelation as she spoke to Entertainment Tonight.
She said:
“They loved it! And they now think Poppy’s an astronaut.’We haven’t corrected them yet, we’re just like ‘Cool!'”
First Man is set to open in cinemas in Ireland on October 12, 2018.
