Ryan Reynolds has confirmed the birth of his fourth child with wife, Blake Lively, while announcing his new series Bedtime Stories with Ryan.

The actor and Wrexham football team owner shared a clip on Twitter on Thursday and confirmed: “The idea for a show made to help everyone fall asleep was born the same day as my fourth child.

“I can’t wait for you to watch Bedtime Stories, premiering June 20th on MaximumEffort Channel on fubotv.”

Neither Reynolds or his wife has confirmed the baby’s name or gender yet and there have been no pictures of the newborn.

Speaking about the new project, Ryan recently told reporters: “We’re so happy to create a program with the express goal of putting people to sleep.

“This show has actually been a dream of mine for a while. Story time is a nighttime staple in our home and is a daily reminder of the power of storytelling.”

Ryan, 46, married Gossip Girl actress Blake, 35, in 2012 after starring together in The Green Lantern a year before.

The couple are already parents to daughters James, 8, Inez, 6, and Betty, aged 3.

Lively announced her pregnancy back in September 2022 on the red carpet at Forbes’s Women in Power Summit in New York City.

In February, fans began speculating that Blake had already given birth when she took to social media to post that she had “been busy” with a baby emoji and a picture with Ryan.

Taking to Instagram she told her 40.2 million followers: “Puppy Bowl Sunday 2023… been busy.”
