Fans are concerned about her social media posts.

Britney Spears’ husband Sam Asghari has broken his silence after fans became concerned about his wife’s well being.

With rumours speculating on social media over the last few days that Britney was no longer in control of her social media accounts, Britney herself deleted her Instagram earlier this week after making comments about her family.

Many fans then became convinced that Britney had not posted as herself since her honeymoon, with others claiming the newer posts were older or recycled images.

Taking to his Instagram Stories, Sam shared a statement addressing the concern for Britney.

He wrote: “Social media can be traumatizing. Sometimes it’s good to take a break. She has her voice and is a free woman. I have respect for her privacy and I protect it at all times. Thank you to all of her protective fans.

“Out of respect for her privacy I don’t post her 247. I ask for permission if I ever do. For my job I have to attend many events. It would be my honour if she joins. For her those things are not fun. They’re hectic and full of stress. Specially, since she’s been doing these things since 8 years old. Plus she already slayed every single one she has been to.

“I’ve always respected and supported her privacy with everything I’ve had. I ask of you supportive and protective fans to do the same. Sometimes being over protective can cause more stress and damage.”

Speaking earlier this week in a Q&A, Sam put a stop to any speculation that he had been running Britney’s account, with one fan asking: ”

Do you control her Instagram?”

To which Sam replied: “I would never control someone that’s been controlled for 13+ years.”

After fans became concerned for the singer back in 2019, they launched #FreeBritney movement and fought to free her of the conservatorship she was under for 13 years. Conservatorships are usually granted to those no longer able to make decisions for themselves.

She was placed under this following an alleged breakdown in 2008 and her estate, financial assets, and some personal assets were put under the control of her father Jamie and lawyer Andrew Wallet.

After a lengthy court battle last year, Britney’s conservatorship was officially terminated in November.
