“Every little victory feels momentous.”
Sarah Harding has given an update on her health saying the tumours in her brains and lungs have “shrunk a bit.”
It’s only been a few months since Harding, 39, revealed that she was battling advanced breast cancer. The former Girls Aloud singer was diagnosed in early 2020 and was later told the devastating news that the cancer had spread around her body.
Since then, the singer has been busy writing a book, her memoir, Hear Me Out, about her life and journey with the disease, which is out now.
Writing at the end of the book, in an excerpt obtained by the Daily Star newspaper, she said: “MRI scans at the end of December revealed that the tumours in my brain and in my lung have shrunk a bit with the treatment. I don’t know exactly what this means but right now, every little victory feels momentous. ”

Harding had previously revealed how her doctors had told her that Christmas 2020 would be her last saying, “In December my doctor told me that the upcoming Christmas would probably be my last. I don’t want an exact prognosis. I don’t know why anyone would want that.”
Despite the heartbreaking nature of what she’s facing the singer remains positive, in an interview the Times magazine, Sarah said she’s grateful to wake up every day because she now realises just how precious life can be.
