Say it ain’t so – popular Irish baby store BabyChic announce that they are closing

We’ll be sad to see it go.

I love finding small Irish businesses to buy my children’s clothes from and one of my favorites for the last two years has been BabyChic.

It has a great eclectic mix of brands and styles, which are perfect if you’re looking for something different and unique.

Unfortunately this week will be the last chance that customers will get to shop their amazing range as BabyChic announced over the weekend that it will be closing down.

A year ago I wrote about my favourite picks from BabyChic so it makes me really sad to hear that they will be shutting their doors for good.

The shop owner posted to social media last week to let customers know that the store would be gone come February;

“After much much thought & consideration, we have decided that now is the right time to close BabyChic.ie.

We’ve had a great run over the last 4+ years. Learned so so much. Met the most lovely people, customers & fellow indie owners who have become great friends. But it has just become impossible to ignore that the business has gradually become too much for me to run whilst also being a full time SAHM to Layla & Fionn.

We naively thought that as the kids grew older it would become easier to run the business. But we’ve come to the realisation now that the opposite is true ? I’ve always called BabyChic my third baby, but in reality I have two babies, Layla & Fionn, who are of course my priority over all else.

So we are starting our closing down sale now, & will be closing the website for good on Friday 31st January.”

Until they finish up for good on Friday BabyChic will be running a closing down sale so you can catch one last bargain.
