World: 36-year-old man charged with murder of Sabina Nessa

Police have confirmed a 36-year-old man has been charged with the murder of primary school teacher Sabina Nessa.

He has been named as Koci Selamaj.

Sabina was killed on September 17th. She was on her way to meet friends at a pub but never showed up.

Selamaj will appear in court today.

R Kelly found guilty on all charges in sex abuse trial

R Kelly has been found guilty on all charges in New York.

The 54-year-old has been charged with kidnapping, racketeering, and sex trafficking.

He was also found guilty of violating a federal law that makes it illegal to transport people across state lines for prostitution.

R Kelly also faces sex-related charges in both Minnesota and Illinois.

At Home: Gardaí appeal for public’s help after discovery of man’s body in Grand Canal

Gardaí are calling for witnesses to come forward after the body of a man in his 20s was found in the Grand Canal.

A man, who was canooing in the canal, discovered the body near Dolphin’s Barn on Sunday afternoon.

It is believed the body had been there overnight.

Gardaí have called on anyone who was in the Dolphin’s Barn area, especially near the Grand Canal, between 2 am and 5 am on Sunday, September 27th to contact them.

Parents urged to get their children vaccinated against the flu

The Irish Pharmacy Union said parents should seriously consider getting their children vaccinated against the flu this year.

They’ve stressed that vaccinating children aged between 2 and 17 is key to stopping them from suffering from a serious illness.

It is believed they’re at an increased risk due to limited exposure to the virus.

Parents should contact their GP or local pharmacy for more information.

Celebrity: Actress Stephanie Davis reveals she has suffered a miscarriage

Former Hollyoaks actress Stephanie Davis has confirmed she suffered a miscarriage.

The actress shared the harrowing news on Instagram.

Davis revealed she suffered a miscarriage after visiting the hospital with pains.

“Scans and lots of bloods later I had the dreaded phone call of the hospital saying that my levels were dropping drastically, and sadly my pregnancy is no more. Then it was just the waiting game to start bleeding and lose what I dreamt about and was so happy about.”

“I feel all over the place right now and know I was early but it still hurts.”
