One zoo in Scotland has decided to help single dads in an incredible way.

Edinburgh Zoo will be hosting a special event that will allow all single dads and their children free entry into the zoo. The zoo hopes that this event will help give single dads the opportunity to take in some quality time with their children.

The event in association with One Parent Families Scotland and Edinburgh Dads Clubs will see dads being able to enjoy a magical day out with their children. Taking place on March 16, the free entry will last from 10:30 am to 3 pm giving single dads the better part of a day to pop in with their children and take in all the sights and sounds of the zoo. It will also give dads a chance to meet other single dads dealing with the same parenting struggles. While it's never easy being a single parent, regardless of gender, single dads, in particular, are often forgotten about.
